What we supply
Plot drills and precision seeders for cereals, oilseeds, pulses and row crops, set up for the plot sizes and row spacings in your protocols.
Why it matters in a trial
Sowing sets up everything that follows. If seed rate, depth or spacing vary from plot to plot, that variation ends up in your results. Our sowing machines are designed to:
- sow each plot’s seed lot completely, then leave the metering unit clean for the next
- hold the same rate and depth across the whole trial
- start and stop exactly on the plot boundaries
Calibration and training
Every sowing machine we supply is calibrated on site before its first season, and we train your operators to check it themselves. We also calibrate drills we didn’t supply. See calibration.
